PHOENIX (DECEMBER 18, 2025) — Hyatt Regency Phoenix will proudly celebrate its 50th anniversary this upcoming January 2026, marking five decades as a historic feature of the downtown skyline and a meeting place for travelers, locals, and visitors across the world. Since its opening in 1976, the hotel has been a guiding point for the city, navigating guests through cultural changes, hosting major events, and welcoming generations through its atrium doors. To honor this milestone, the hotel is marking the occasion with a yearlong recognition of its history, people, and moments that shaped its legacy.

To celebrate this commemoration, Hyatt Regency Phoenix is introducing two specialty packages that pay tribute to the property’s hallmark experiences. A “Signature Stay” experience will be offered for the anniversary year, which features early check-in and check-out flexibility, breakfast for registered guests, free self-parking, and other unique accents that honor Hyatt’s 50-plus years of hospitality. A limited-time “Culinary Delight” package will also be offered at Compass, the only revolving restaurant in downtown Phoenix, which features upscale dining with thoughtful touches and enhanced accommodations, such as the best available rates, a complimentary sparkling wine welcome, and waived parking. These packages were created to celebrate the hotel’s history and invite guests new and old, to experience this iconic property in a memorable way.
