WHAT:

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is inviting girls, families, and volunteers across Central and Northern Arizona to discover a place where every girl can grow, lead, and belong. Through hands-on experiences in STEM, outdoor adventure, entrepreneurship, life skills, and community service, Girl Scouts empowers girls to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form lifelong friendships.

Back‑to‑school is one of the best times to join Girl Scouts, with new troops forming across schools and neighborhoods and Girl Scout staff available at meet‑the‑teacher events to help families get started. And joining isn’t limited to fall—families can sign up any time. Whether a girl wants to join a local troop, start one with friends, participate independently, or explore flexible program pathways, there’s a Girl Scout experience that fits every family.

The council is also seeking trusted adult volunteers to help inspire the next generation of leaders. From leading a troop and mentoring girls to supporting events or volunteering for short-term opportunities, every volunteer plays an important role in creating safe, welcoming spaces where girls can thrive. Comprehensive training, resources, and ongoing support are provided, and no previous Girl Scout experience is necessary—just a passion for making a difference.

WHEN:

Registration is now open. Families and prospective volunteers are invited to attend free in-person and virtual information sessions across Arizona to learn about joining Girl Scouts or becoming a volunteer.

WHO:

Girls entering Kindergarten through 12th grade who are ready to discover new interests, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships.

Parents, caregivers, and community members interested in volunteering and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
