Colibri recognized by political advertising’s largest and most prestigious awards program
April 24, 2023 - The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) announced that The Colibri Collective are the winners of 6 awards, including 4 Pollie Golds, at the 2023 Pollie Awards, the largest political advertising awards program in the country.
Known as the Oscars of political advertising, the Pollies received over 3,000 entries from over 530 firms this year across 10 mediums, including television, digital, direct mail/print, radio, and phones, marking the largest Pollie Awards contest in history. The Colibri Collective was among just 5% of entrants to take home a Pollie Gold, the industry’s top honor, with Colibri earning 4 Pollie Golds, including the award for Best Overall Democratic Field Campaign. In addition to the award wins, CEO & Founder Gaby Cardenas was invited to speak on a spirited panel, where she shared lessons on creating good creative for winning campaigns. Colibri Vice President Sandra Cardenas was also chosen as a judge for the contest, joining over 300 political consultants, journalists and industry leaders in reviewing a multitude of submissions for political effectiveness and execution while upholding AAPC’s Professional Code of Ethics.
